# Launch your token

Launching is free: you only pay gas. Each X account can launch **one** personal token, ever.

## What your token is

|                    |                                                      |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Name               | `@` + your X handle, e.g. `@neuriio`                 |
| Ticker             | Your handle in capitals, e.g. `$NEURIIO`             |
| Supply             | 1,000,000,000, all created at launch                 |
| Creator allocation | None. You start with zero tokens, like everyone else |

## Steps

1. Log in with X and open **Launch**.
2. **Pick a category** that describes what you're known for: Trader, Meme Trader, Researcher, Influencer, Builder or Creator.
3. **Write your profile**: a short "about" and links to your work. This is how people decide whether to back you.
4. **Launch.** You can add an optional first buy in the same transaction.

Your token goes live on its [bonding curve](/get-started/bonding-curve.md) immediately and shows up in Explore.

## Rules

* **One token per X account.** It's tied to your permanent X user ID, so changing your handle doesn't give you a second launch. It's also one per wallet and one per handle.
* **Reserved tickers.** Tickers that look like real assets (for example `HYPE`, `USDC`, `USDT`) can't be launched.
* **Your profile is fixed at launch.** A fingerprint (hash) of it is stored on-chain with the token, so anyone can check it hasn't been changed.
* Follow the [creator rules](/trust/creator-rules.md): no promises of returns, pumps or buybacks.

Launching as a group of four? See [Launch an FTF](/get-started/launch-an-ftf.md). Being in an FTF doesn't use up your personal launch.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.neuriio.xyz/get-started/launch-your-token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
